Before you reach out
Most questions are answered in the documentation. Common ones:
- "Sample data" banner — that's the built-in demo. Open the gadget's Edit (pencil) menu and pick your project.
- Deployment frequency is zero — your project has no versions marked as released. Switch the deployment definition to "Issues reaching a status" in the wizard.
- "Analyzing your project history…" — the first run reads up to 12 months of issues once; afterwards the gadget loads instantly.
- Many issues excluded from lead time — issues that never passed through an In progress status can't be measured; the Details popup lists them.
- "You don't have access to this project's data" — the app enforces Jira project permissions per viewer; ask your admin for Browse access.
What to include in a bug report
- Your deployment definition (releases vs status transitions)
- The period selected and what the footnote says (issues / releases / excluded)
- What you expected vs. what you saw (a screenshot helps a lot)
