FAQ
BYOK means you bring your own AI provider API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google). Your key, your costs — CodeDoc AI never sees or stores your key beyond your Atlassian site. No token markup, no AI middleman.
CodeDoc AI requires Confluence Cloud. It is a Forge-native app, meaning it runs entirely on Atlassian's infrastructure — no Data Center or Server support.
Most teams are up and running in under 10 minutes. You need an AI provider API key, a Git access token, and a Confluence space to publish to. The Quick Start guide walks you through every step.
Only to your chosen AI provider. The Forge runtime fetches your repository files and sends them directly to your AI provider (e.g. Anthropic). No third-party servers operated by Janek Behrens are involved at any point. See the Trust Center for details.
